Yesterday I was fortunate enough to attend the unveiling of the Livingstone-Hope Review. It presented a 20 step plan for how we can improve both the videogame and visual effects industries in the UK by making changes to our education system so that the right subjects, the right skills are being taught in the right way to benefit all involved.
A video was shown after Ian Livingstone opened the talk, prior to the Q&A. It was a very effective way of showcasing where we are and how we could be so much more. Whether you agree with its findings or not it’s worth seeing.
